The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
