The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the main group to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then paid off his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could help the team enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the combat party will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
